“Great Scott!” Time circuits on and flux capacitors fluxing because on July 21, from 8 PM to 11 PM, Cat’s Cradle Back Room is transporting you “Back to the Future” with an adult prom. Dust off your poodle skirts or rock your 80s neon for a time-traveling adventure that’s sure to be the highlight of the summer.
“Where we’re going, we don’t need roads!” But dancing shoes are a must as attendees groove to tunes from 1955 to 1985, played by the band Mix Tape Grab Bag. Your $50 ticket doesn’t just open the doors to this retro blast—it includes a feast of heavy appetizers provided by Mel’s Catering, access to a nostalgia-inducing photo booth, and the thrill of a Dance Off competition. Who will make it to the Prom Court? It could be you!
Proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange Counties. “Your future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one,” as Doc Brown says.
